All pharmaceutical ingredients adhere to the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) Monograph.
Lidocaine (CAS: 137-58-6)
Lidocaine is the monocarboxylic acid amide resulting from the formal condensation of N,N-diethylglycine with 2,6-dimethylaniline. It has a role as a local anaesthetic, an anti-arrhythmia drug, an environmental contaminant, a xenobiotic and a drug allergen. It is a monocarboxylic acid amide, a tertiary amino compound and a member of benzenes. It is functionally related to a glycinamide. (ChEBI)
Available in: Lidocaine, Lidocaine HCl
Typical dosage forms: Liquid Topical, Liquid Transbuccal / Transmucosal, Injection
Benzocaine (CAS: 94-09-7)
Benzocaine is a benzoate ester having 4-aminobenzoic acid as the acid component and ethanol as the alcohol component. A surface anaesthetic, it is used to suppress the gag reflex, and as a lubricant and topical anaesthetic on the larynx, mouth, nasal cavity, respiratory tract, oesophagus, rectum, urinary tract, and vagina. It has a role as a topical anaesthetic, an antipruritic drug, an allergen and a sensitiser. It is a benzoate ester and a substituted aniline. (ChEBI)
Available in: Benzocaine, Benzocaine HCl
Typical dosage forms: Liquid Topical, Liquid Transbuccal / Transmucosal, Injection
Minoxidil (CAS: 38304-91-5)
A pyrimidine N-oxide that is pyrimidine-2,4-diamine 3-oxide substituted by a piperidin-1-yl group at position 6. It has a role as a vasodilator agent and an antihypertensive agent. It is a pyrimidine N-oxide, a member of piperidines and an aminopyrimidine. (ChEBI)
Typical dosage forms: Liquid Topical, Tablets, Capsules, Liquid Intradermal
Finasteride (CAS: 98319-26-7)
Finasteride is an aza-steroid that is a synthetic drug for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It has a role as an androgen antagonist, an EC 1.3.1.22 [3-oxo-5alpha-steroid 4-dehydrogenase (NADP(+))] inhibitor and an antihyperplasia drug. It is an aza-steroid, a 3-oxo steroid and a delta-lactam. It derives from a hydride of a 5alpha-androstane. (ChEBI)
Typical dosage forms: Liquid Topical, Tablets, Capsules, Liquid Intradermal
Excipients refer to substances that are not active pharmaceutical ingredients found in completed pharmaceutical dosage forms. Nearly all drug dosage forms contain some form of excipient to ensure proper dosage, stability, and bioavailability.
Ethyl Alcohol 95% (CAS: 64-17-5)
Ethanol is used as a solvent, co-solvent, flavoring agent and preservative in liquid formulations and as an extracting solvent in herbal medicinal products.
Typical dosage forms: Liquid Topical
Isododecane (CAS: 7045-71-8)🇵🇭
Isododecane is a transparent liquid frequently utilized in various cosmetic, hair care, and skin care formulations as an emollient. Its widespread use is attributed to the numerous advantages it provides for both skin and hair. In addition to retaining moisture, Isododecane contributes to the smoothness of the formulations and facilitates effortless application of the products. Moreover, this component produces a matte appearance and imparts a light sensation on the skin and hair.
Typical dosage forms: Liquid Topical
Crude plant extracts are acquired through the first stage of the extraction process (essential oils, solvent extract, CO2 extract, etc.), while standardized extracts targets a specific compound present in the plant in the refining and fractionation process.
Resveratrol 50%, 98%, 99% (CAS: 501-36-0)
Polygonum Cuspidatum Extract
Resveratrol is a plant polyphenol found in high concentrations in red grapes that has been proposed as a treatment for hyperlipidemia and to prevent fatty liver, diabetes, atherosclerosis and aging. Resveratrol use has been associated with rare instances of serum enzyme elevations during therapy but has not been convincingly linked to episodes of clinically apparent liver injury. (LiverTox)
Typical dosage forms: Tablet, Capsule, Powder
Magnesium Glycinate (CAS: 14783-68-7)
Magnesium Glycinate is an orally available magnesium salt of glycine. Magnesium activates over 600 enzymes and is essential for DNA and RNA synthesis, cellular repair, and maintaining the antioxidant status of the cell. Magnesium plays a key role in bone and muscle function and assists in the activation of vitamin D, which helps regulate calcium and phosphate homeostasis to influence the growth and maintenance of bones. (NCI Thesaurus)
Typical dosage forms: Tablet, Capsule, Powder
Creatine Monohydrate (CAS: 6020-87-7)
Creatine Monohydrate is the monohydrate form of creatine similar or identical to endogenous creatine produced in the liver, kidneys, and pancreas. Creatine, in phosphate form, helps supply energy to muscle cells for contraction. After intense effort, when ATP deposits are depleted, creatine phosphate donates phosphate groups toward the fast synthesis of ATP. Dietary supplementation with creatine may improve muscle wasting associated with cancer and other chronic diseases. (NCI Thesaurus)
Typical dosage forms: Tablet, Capsule, Powder
Copper Tripeptide-1 (CAS: 89030-95-5)🇵🇭
Copper tripeptide-1 is a tripeptide consisting of glycine, histidine, and lysine which readily forms a complex with copper ions. Prezatide is used in cosmetic products for the skin and hair. It is known to aid wound healing and its potential applications in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and metastatic colon cancer are currently being investigated. (DrugBank)
Typical dosage forms: Liquid Topical, Liquid Intradermal
Retinoic acid / Tretinoin (CAS: 302-79-4)
Also called Vitamin A acid, a metabolite of vitamin A that plays an important role in cell growth, differentiation and organogenesis. Retinoic acid is a natural agonist of RAR nuclear receptor α/β/γ. Retinoic acid can inhibit transcription factor Nrf2 by activating retinoic acid receptor.
Typical dosage forms: Liquid Topical, Liquid Intradermal
Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (CAS: 183476-82-6)
Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, also known as ATIP or tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (THD ascorbate), is a highly stable, oil soluble derivative of vitamin C that helps prevent pro-aging environmental damage from external aggressors and helps improve collagen production, allowing skin to maintain a tighter, firmer, more youthful appearance.
